Human Relations Mutual Assistance Consortium (HRMAC)

A Mutual Assistance Agreement

The purpose of a mutual assistance agreement is to help increase the capacities of local cities to address their own intergroup tensions and to assist local jurisdictions in maximizing available resources. This partnership between County Government and cities within Los Angeles works to develop an intergroup relations plan to be used in both short and long term conflict management intervention. The goal of an MAA is to implement a workable system that will address social destabilization.
