Resources to Improve Hate Crime Reporting:

The California Attorney General's Civil Rights Commission on Hate Crimes issued a report in 2001 with best practices to improve hate crime reporting in local communities, in schools and by law enforcement agencies. In preparing the report, members of the Commission visited nearly two dozen diverse communities throughout California . The Commission heard from various members of the community, including students, seniors, people with disabilities, parents and working families.
