Jason Moss

Jason Moss has dedicated his life to working with the Jewish community to help people strengthen their Jewish identity and their connection with the Jewish community. Jason joined the staff of the Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys in March 2005. In October 2008, he was named Executive Director.

During his 18+ years at the Jewish Federation, the organization has experienced unprecedented growth in its programs and services, as well as making the organization more relevant in the lives of the local Jewish community. Over the last year, his organization has implemented a Comprehensive Community-wide Security Plan and is currently combating antisemitism and all forms of hatred by reaching out to their community’s local elected city officials, urging them to pass resolutions denouncing hatred and developing task forces that bring other ethnic and racial groups together.

Jason holds a BA in Religious Studies (California State University, Northridge), a Master of Social Work (University of Southern California), and a Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service (Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion).  In 2022, he earned a Certificate in Jewish Leadership (Northwestern University School of Professional Studies and Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership).

Jason and his wife, Rachel, live in San Gabriel with their two daughters – Hannah (20) and Eliana (14).
